Kazan Innovative University is hosting the 5th International Student Festival titled “Dialogue of Cultures of KIU.”

      Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov recently organized the International Festival “Dialogue of Cultures of KIU,” which assembled students from various nations. Held on June 15, the event celebrated the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia and showcased that mutual understanding, respect, and openness can transcend barriers, fostering a space for friendship and meaningful interaction among cultures. Liliya Vorontsova, the Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development, welcomed the festival's participants and guests, highlighting the significance of nurturing and promoting intercultural dialogue within the university community. She expressed her appreciation to the students for their enthusiastic involvement in the university's cultural scene and their role in cultivating an atmosphere of friendship and respect.

      Participants of the festival showcased not only their creative abilities but also a keen interest in Russian culture and language. A standout feature of the program was a series of theatrical presentations inspired by Russian folk tales, where participants animatedly portrayed beloved fairy-tale characters.

      The Concert Hall at KIU transformed into a lively venue for cultural exchange on this day, uniting diverse peoples, traditions, and artistic expressions. Students demonstrated a sincere curiosity about other cultures and a desire to engage in open dialogue and share experiences. At the end of the festival, all participants received commemorative gifts from the university as a token of appreciation for their creativity, active participation, and dedication to intercultural communication.
