      Special routes for Chinese tourists have appeared in the republic

      For Chinese visitors who are increasingly coming to the Republic of Tatarstan as tourists, a special offer has been created, which is sure to appeal to guests from the Middle Kingdom. This involves a tourist route through Kazan and the Kama Ustye, whose presentation took place in the capital of the republic for the Chinese Consul General in Kazan, Xiang Bo. According to the city’s tourism development committee, there are currently two directions for the special route for Chinese tourists – Kazan and Kama Ustye. These routes will be accessible to everyone. Regarding the sites included in the route for Chinese guests, in Kazan these include the Kremlin, the Kazan Family Center, the new Kamala Theater, the National Museum of the Republic, the Socialist Life Museum, the Kazan University Museum, and several other sites. On some sites, visitors can use an audio guide in their native language. The route also includes a city sightseeing tour on a double-decker bus.

      The special route in Kama Ustye for Chinese tourists has also been made interesting and rich—it consists of a boat trip on the Volga and Kama rivers, visits to the Yurievsky Caves, cheese tastings, and trips to other interesting sites.

      It is worth recalling that last year, there was a significant increase in the flow of tourists from China to Kazan – it grew by 84%, with around 20,400 Chinese citizens visiting the city. This figure was 9,300 higher than the previous year.

      Plans to create a special tourist route in the capital of Tatarstan for Chinese tourists became known in early February of this year. Authorities noted that work in this area is being coordinated with the Chinese Consulate General.
