      The social mortgage program is being implemented in Tatarstan as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." It aims to increase the accessibility of comfortable housing for residents of the region.

      In the Republic of Tatarstan, the social mortgage program demonstrates impressive results: since the beginning of 2025, over 2,000 families have improved their living conditions. According to a report by "Tatar-inform," within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life," 11 apartment buildings have already been put into operation, with a total area of 98.7 thousand square meters. This figure, as noted by the authors, accounts for 61% of the annual plan. Newly built apartments with full finishing—including installed plumbing, panels, meters, and control systems—appeared in Kazan (6 buildings) and Naberezhnye Chelny (5 buildings). The State Housing Fund clarified that the apartments have already been transferred to new owners, for many of whom this has made it possible to purchase their own housing on preferential terms. "It is comfortable to live, work, create families, and raise children in the republic. We firmly stand for the protection of our traditional values and will undoubtedly preserve this heritage for future generations," said Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. According to the investment plan of the State Housing Fund, by the end of 2025, an additional 24 residential buildings (besides the already commissioned 11) are planned to be built in the region—from a total of 3,274 apartments with a total area of 161.7 thousand square meters. Earlier reports indicated that residents of Tatarstan are buying land plots more frequently. As reported by the RT Rosreestr, in June of this year, the number of registered plots reached 19,500, an 11% increase compared to May.
