      At Ometyevo station, transport police caught two teenagers, aged 11 and 13, who had clung to the handrails between the cars of a departing electric train on the Kazan–Sosnovka route. This was reported to Tatar-inform by the press service of the Kazan Line Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Transport.

      It turned out that the teenagers wanted to have fun and ride to the next station for free.

      Administrative protocols were drawn up against the teenagers’ parents, and preventive conversations were also held.

      Transport police officers remind that train surfing is an extremely dangerous way to travel by train. Enthusiasts of such extremes risk falling from the train, colliding with obstacles when the train passes through bridges and tunnels, or receiving a fatal electric shock.
