To make it easier for a student to combine work and study, it is necessary to agree a number of points with the employer. This was reported to Tatar-inform by HR expert, member of the State Duma's expert council on youth policy Garri Muradyan.
“Thus, by agreement with the employer one can take paid or unpaid leave for the duration of the exam session,” the expert noted.
If taking leave is not possible, it is recommended to arrange time off on exam days, Muradyan added.
“Also, one should honestly and in advance discuss academic workloads with the employer,” he emphasized.
In addition to coordinating with the employer, when combining work and study it is important to maintain a strict sleep and rest regimen, including daytime naps, the speaker believes.
“You should not forget to exercise or engage in other physical activity to reduce stress, as well as plan your time taking into account maximum productivity while also allocating time for recovery,” Muradyan concluded.
