In Tatarstan 50 women were awarded the “Ana danı – Maternal Glory” medal
In the Republic of Tatarstan 50 residents received the “Ana danı – Maternal Glory” medal. This state award was established in 2000 and is presented to mothers who have given birth to and properly raised five or more children. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Mothers raising five children receive a one-time payment of 100,000 rubles. If a family has six or more children, the amount increases by 20,000 rubles for each child after the fifth.
Since the award’s establishment, 1,600 women have become its recipients. In 2024 the medal was awarded to 62 mothers, and from January to August 2025 — another 50.
In 2022 another state award appeared in Tatarstan — the “Parental Valor” medal. It honors families raising or who have raised seven or more children. The one-time payment is 200,000 rubles. Since the award’s establishment it has been received by 16 families, including two families in 2024 and two in 2025.
Since January 1, 2025 all payments provided upon awarding the “Ana danı – Maternal Glory” and “Parental Valor” medals are granted under the national project “Family”.
