A young agricultural machinery operator from Zainsk continues the family business.

      Aynur Urazmanov preferred the call of the fields to city life and continues his family's dynasty of farm machinery operators.

      The grain harvest in the Zainsk fields is approaching the finish line. This year, young farm machinery operators have joined the experienced harvest crews, one of whom is Aynur Urazmanov — a representative of a well-known local dynasty of grain growers. For the twenty-four-year-old young man, this is not merely seasonal work but a family vocation. He took the wheel of a combine harvester on his own for the first time after several years of gaining experience working as his father's assistant. His father, Ayrat Urazmanov, is an advanced farm machinery operator not only in the Zainsk district but in the republic as well, with thirty years of experience.

      “Sitting at the wheel on your own is a huge responsibility and, of course, nerve-wracking,” Aynur shares, closely watching the progress of the harvesting machine. “The main task is to minimize losses so that every ear of grain, grown with such hard work, is placed into the grain tank. Thanks to the senior colleagues in our crew: they always offer advice and help, supporting you with guidance.”

      The Urazmanov dynasty from the village of Durt-Muncha is well known in the Zainsk district. Aynur’s father, Ayrat, and his brothers, Pandus and Khalil, have devoted their lives to working the land and machinery. It is not surprising that Aynur absorbed his love for his native fields and powerful machines almost from infancy.

      After finishing school he received a construction education at the Naberezhnye Chelny College, but his pull toward the land and machinery proved stronger. In 2019 the young man returned to his native district and took a job as a farm machinery operator at the agricultural firm “Zay,” where he began working on the same team as his father. Today he already operates a combine in the Kadyrovo division. These days he is busy harvesting rapeseed.

      The family business, it seems, will find a successor in the next generation as well. Aynur’s younger brother, ten-year-old Amir, is already very interested in his older brother’s profession and gladly helps to learn about the complex agricultural machinery.

      The work of a farm machinery operator during harvest season is a real battle for the crop. The success of the entire agricultural season depends on how smoothly both experienced and young personnel work together. The work of young men like Aynur Urazmanov is a guarantee that the proud traditions of Zainsk’s grain growers are in reliable hands.
