Kazenergo invested nearly half a billion in preparation for the heating season.

      JSC "Kazenergo" has completed preparations for the heating season, allocating 496 million rubles to the reconstruction and repair of its thermal energy facilities. This was reported by the company's general director, Fanis Nurmukhametov, at a Business Monday meeting at Kazan's mayor's office.

      According to him, as part of the preparations 13 kilometers of heat networks were repaired, modern boiler units were installed at four boiler houses, and 90 pieces of equipment were replaced. In addition, 25 boiler-house buildings and 13 chimneys were repaired.

      "The company's personnel have passed certification, and an emergency stock of materials has been assembled. As a result of the inspection we received a readiness certificate with the assessment 'Ready'," Nurmukhametov said.

      He added that the construction of a new boiler house with a capacity of 9 Gcal/h in Military Town-33, involving Kazenergo, is currently being completed. The allocated funding amounted to 268 million rubles.
