The Prosecutor's Office, together with Rospotrebnadzor, found that JSC "Zainsky Sugar" is exceeding ammonia emissions. Concentrations were exceeded in the village of Pertsovka in Zainsky District and on Aglyamova Street in the town of Zainsk. The source of these emissions turned out to be filtration fields that belong to the plant, reports the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan.
As a result, the plant director was sent a demand to eliminate the violations. In addition, an administrative case was initiated under the article for violation of sanitary norms. These prosecutorial acts are currently under review.
