      A single federal Telegram chat operates in Russia where participants of the special military operation (SMO) and their relatives can receive free assistance from professional psychologists around the clock. Communication is anonymous — no personal data are requested. People can contact from any region of the country, said Yulia Belekova, head of the Committee of Families of Warriors of the Fatherland. The chat employs 75 experienced specialists from 10 regions. Over the year they have helped more than 4,000 people, including those who found themselves in particularly difficult situations.

      “We see a demand for a digital format of communication, when you don’t have to go to a clinic and your neighbors won’t see you. Over the year of the chat’s operation specialists have handled more than 4,000 individual requests. Today we provide ongoing support even for the most severe cases. We do not use artificial intelligence, we offer live communication with a specialist,” shared the chat coordinator, member of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation and head of the federal project ‘ZdravKontrol,’ Evgeny Martynov.

      More than 16,000 people have already joined the chat via the link. It was organized by the Committee of Families of Warriors of the Fatherland and the Social Sphere Foundation with the support of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
