Sections dedicated to robotics, drone assembly and operation will appear at teen clubs or youth centers in every district of Tatarstan.
Ex-minister for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan Rinat Sadikov, who was appointed deputy prime minister of the RT, told Tatar-inform about this initiative. “We plan to open programs in teen clubs and youth centers focused on robotics and various types of drones. We will teach assembly and hold robot competitions. Right now such clubs do not exist in all institutions, but there is demand for this to become a large mass movement, to raise interest in engineering professions, possibly among future university and technical college students,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
According to him, such work will make it possible within a few years to create a large community of young people passionate about engineering professions.
