Tatarstan has established a spending standard for hot meals for primary school students.

      The Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan approved budgetary expenditures for free hot meals for primary school pupils for 2026, as well as for the planned period 2027–2028. This is reported in a decree published on the republic government's website. According to the order, in 2026 77.76 rubles will be allotted per primary school pupil for hot meals, and in 2027 and 2028 this amount will be 80.87 and 81.4 rubles, respectively. The document comes into force on January 1, 2026.
