      On the fact of registration of an intestinal infection in a visitor to the "Zam Zam" café, the Nurlat territorial department of the Rospotrebnadzor Office for the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an epidemiological investigation concerning individual entrepreneur Saidov A.Kh. (village Cheremshan, Dzerzhinsky St., 29).

      During the investigation, violations of sanitary legislation requirements were identified:

      - the layout of the production premises, their construction, placement and size do not ensure the continuity of technological processes;

      - unmarked utensils are used;

      - insects (flies) were found in the food unit;

      - deratization and disinsection measures are not carried out;

      - the regime of washing and disinfecting dining and kitchen utensils is violated;

      - employees were allowed to work without records of medical examinations, vaccinations and hygiene training;

      - production control is not carried out.

      In addition, bacteria of the Escherichia coli group were found in swabs from the cook’s work clothes, from the cook’s hands, from the board for boiled vegetables, from the shelf of the refrigerator for finished products, from scales, from the knife for raw meat, and from the table for finished products.

      Nine batches of food products totaling 42.3 kg were withdrawn from sale.

      Protocols on administrative offenses and temporary suspension of activities were drawn up against individual entrepreneur Saidov A.Kh. for the identified violations, the premises were sealed, and the materials were forwarded to court.

      By decision of the Cheremshan District Court the activity of the "Zam Zam" café of individual entrepreneur Saidov A.Kh. was suspended for 60 days.

      The sick person was diagnosed with an unspecified bacterial intestinal infection.
