Over 30,000 medical workers in Tatarstan receive special payments from the SFR.

      The Branch of the Social Fund of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan has, since the beginning of 2025, assigned a special social payment to more than 30,000 medical workers in the republic.

      Since the beginning of 2025, the regional Branch of the Social Fund has transferred more than 3,022.2 million rubles to the republic’s medical workers in the form of special social payments. More than 30,400 employees of the healthcare system receive such support monthly.

      This support measure is especially important for doctors and middle-level staff of primary care and ambulance services, as they are the first to encounter patients and work under heavy daily workloads. Payments range from 4,500 to 50,000 rubles depending on the category of medical worker and the type of medical organization.

      Payments are received by both experienced staff and young doctors and nurses who have taken vacant positions for the first time.

      Medical institutions monthly compile an electronic register of employees indicating the employee’s details, the payment amount, and the indicators used to calculate it. Transfers to bank accounts are made by the Branch of the Social Fund within seven working days, and a notification is sent to the personal account on the Gosuslugi portal.

      Special social payments are retained for medical workers working part-time. These funds are not subject to income tax and are not included in the calculation of average earnings.

      “Today the state pays special attention to doctors and ambulance staff, because they are the first to come to people’s aid. Since the beginning of 2025 alone, our Branch has transferred more than 3,022.2 million rubles to the republic’s medical workers. Special payments help support the work of medical workers and motivate young specialists to remain in the profession,” emphasized Eduard Vafin, head of the Branch of the Social Fund of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan.
