      According to 2024 statistics, 103,244 thousand visits to cultural events were recorded, and this figure is 10% higher than in 2023; the growth rate amounted to 130% relative to the planned value. Interest in Tatarstan productions outside the republic has grown significantly. By the number of viewers at performances presented in other regions of the Russian Federation, the state and municipal theatres of Tatarstan ranked second in Russia in 2024. By the indicator “number of visits on tours” within the region we exceed the national average sixfold. At the same time, the overall number of theatre visits showed an increase of 112,161 compared to 2023.

      In the first half of 2025 the republic’s theatres were visited by 900,000 spectators; 50 premiere productions were staged, of which 10 were dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

      The premiere of the national Tatar fantasy play “Miras” took place at the Kazan State Circus venue, which was attended by 126 thousand spectators.
