The “My Years — My Wealth” celebration brought the older generation together at the Zainsk City House of Culture
On October 1, the Day of Kindness and Respect for Older People, the creative staff of the Zainsk City House of Culture treated senior residents to a heartfelt and colorful celebration, “My Years — My Wealth.” This kind tradition became for the wise and “very adult” residents of Zainsk not only a reason for congratulations, but also a wonderful opportunity to meet friends, relax, and soak up an atmosphere of warmth and care.
A rich musical program was prepared for the event’s guests. Highlights of the evening included solo congratulations performed in Tatar and Russian by Dmitry Ivanov, Alexander Seliverstov, Rezida Chentsova, and Anna Melnikova. Their touching performances left no one indifferent.
A particularly heartfelt part of the program saw guests become not just spectators but active participants. Together with the vocal folk song ensemble “Ivushka,” everyone happily sang along to favorite songs from their youth. Remembering and dancing the folk dances once performed in the “pyatachki” was a real journey into the past, bringing many smiles and positive emotions.
On this autumn day the stage resounded with the sincerest wishes addressed to the honorees: good health, spiritedness, good mood, and active longevity. The celebration in Zainsk once again proved that age is not an obstacle to joy and creativity, and that the wisdom and experience of the older generation are a true wealth for society as a whole.
