      The Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan explained the reasons for the mass surfacing of fish in the lake at Kazan’s Victory Park. According to the agency, no discharge of harmful substances was recorded. The fish rose to the surface due to a lack of oxygen in the water, reports Vechernyaya Kazan. The oxygen deficit was caused by cooling water and the active decomposition of organic matter. To prevent similar situations, the ministry recommended installing aeration systems. Water samples have been taken for laboratory testing. A decision on additional measures to restore the ecosystem will be made after the test results are received. Photo: social media
