      In Nizhnekamsk, work is being completed to bring heating online in apartment buildings and social facilities. As Alexander Umnikov, deputy head of the Nizhnekamsk district, reported, as of 7:00 a.m. heat has been supplied to all apartment buildings.

      – Heating has been turned on in all kindergartens and in the majority of the city’s social facilities. Specialists are now carrying out the necessary adjustment works. Hot water supply has been restored in 875 buildings. In the remaining buildings finishing works are underway to ensure a reliable supply of hot water during the winter period; heat-exchange equipment is being replaced in three central heating points (CHPs). Crews are working around the clock so that such important services as hot water reach every apartment as soon as possible, – Umnikov commented.

      Earlier, Nizhnekamsk mayor Radmir Belyaev said that works had been completed at all the difficult addresses where there had been no hot water all summer.
