The 59th sugar-making season is in full swing at the Zainsk sugar factory.

      The legendary enterprise of Zainsk, part of the Agrosila holding, demonstrates consistently high production performance, making a significant contribution to the country’s food security and the economic development of the region.

      As of October 6 of this year, the Zainsky Sugar Plant had achieved the following results: Sugar beet processed: 222 thousand tons. Sugar produced: 25 thousand tons. The plant issues about 1 thousand tons of finished products daily. More than 7 thousand tons of beet pulp and 6,800 tons of molasses were obtained. The plant received 281 thousand tons of beet in physical weight from farmers of six districts of Tatarstan: Zainsky, Tukaevsky, Sarmanovsky, Menzelinsky, Muslyumovsky and Nizhnekamsky. Zainsky District became the leader in deliveries, supplying 121 thousand tons of sugar beets. The first batch of sugar from the new harvest was produced on August 31. The plant’s capacity allows processing up to 8,000 tons of beet per day, which confirms its place in the top 5 of the largest sugar producers in Russia.

      “Zainsky Sugar” is a town-forming enterprise and a stable employer. Today 650 people are employed at the plant.
