      Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin presented the Order of Friendship to State Duma deputy from Tatarstan Tatyana Larionova. The solemn ceremony took place on the feast day of Venerable Sergius of Radonezh. The parliamentarian reported this on her Telegram channel.

      “For me this is very symbolic: a day dedicated to spiritual values and a strong family reminds us of the importance of supporting one another and preserving the traditions that make our lives stable and meaningful,” Larionova emphasized.

      The deputy thanked everyone who congratulated her on the award. “A high honor, a kind word and attention are a responsibility and a drive to continue working in the interests of Russian families, the state and our common future,” she added.

      Recall that Tatyana Larionova was elected to the State Duma from United Russia’s federal list. She is a member of the Committee on Family Protection, Issues of Fatherhood, Motherhood and Childhood, holds a Candidate of Sciences degree in sociology, and has been awarded the Medals of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” 1st and 2nd classes, the “In Commemoration of the 1000th Anniversary of Kazan” medal, and the “For Valiant Labor” medal.

      At the beginning of the year Larionova headed a commission created in Tatarstan for United Russia’s popular program, whose task is to inform the population about the results of implementing the party’s main document and its plans for the future.
