Today a fire broke out in a one-story residential house on Pionerskaya Street in the city of Mamadysh. According to the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry for the Republic of Tatarstan, firefighters discovered the bodies of a married couple — a 50-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman — while extinguishing the blaze. The fire covered an area of 50 square meters. Fire supervision officers are investigating the causes of the tragedy; one of the main versions is careless smoking.
