25 tons of humanitarian aid were sent from Nizhnekamsk to fighters in the special military operation.

      This morning another batch of humanitarian cargo for participants in the special military operation departed from Nizhnekamsk. A total of 25 tons of necessary items were sent, including construction materials, household chemicals and the first combat motorhome, specially prepared for the needs of fighters at the front.

      Head of the Nizhnekamsk District Radmir Belyaev emphasized that this aid was the result of joint work by the district administration, enterprises, organizations, entrepreneurs, volunteers and concerned residents.

      According to Belyaev, the value of the aid lies not only in its material component but also in the support for the fighters: the feeling of home warmth, faith, respect and gratitude. About 50 tons of humanitarian aid are sent from Nizhnekamsk every month.

      The head of the republic, Rustam Minnikhanov, earlier in his annual address to the State Council of Tatarstan thanked volunteers for their active participation in supporting the special military operation, noting that people sincerely unite around a common goal. Later, the head of Tatarstan stressed at a meeting with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, that the population and companies of the republic are actively assembling and sending humanitarian aid — in total more than 4.3 thousand tons have been sent.
