Loyalty to the Land: Fargat Kamaliev Has Been Named an Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Russian Federation

      In Kazan, as part of the celebration of the Agricultural Worker's Day, a ceremonial event took place for the entire Zainsk district.

      The head of the district Department of Agriculture and Food, Fargat Kamaliev, was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Russian Federation." For him, this is the natural culmination of more than 40 years of a path that can be called service to his native land. There are people whose destiny seems preordained by love for their small homeland. Fargat Kamaliev is one of them. Graduating from school with an excellent certificate, he made a choice to which he remained faithful for life. First — a district-sponsored placement and the Kazan Agricultural Institute, which he graduated from with a red diploma (with honors). Then — military service, which tempered his character. And in 1984 he returned to his native Zainsk district, to the collective farm named after the 21st Party Congress, where he began his working life as chief engineer.

      His career is a vivid lesson in how one should love their work. He did not merely climb the career ladder; he lived through each step of it, becoming a true steward of the land. Ten years devoted to leading the "Zay" cooperative in the village of Sarapala allowed him to thoroughly study all the subtleties of crop production. Later, while heading the "Alga" collective farm and the "Nur" cooperative in his native village Aksarino, he strengthened his reputation as a skilled organizer and responsible leader. He gained invaluable management experience in modern market conditions while working as head of divisions in large agricultural firms "Zainsky Sugar," "Vostok" and "Zay." In every position he was distinguished by remarkable industriousness, the ability to establish work processes and consistently achieve results. It was entirely natural that in 2019 he, Fargat Kamaliev, was entrusted to head the agriculture department of the entire Zainsk district.

      "During his work, Fargat Talvertovich has established himself as a responsible, proactive leader with analytical thinking. He is a leader of a new generation who knows how to set the right priorities in a difficult situation," is how the head of the Zainsk district, Razif Karimov, describes him.

      It is under his leadership that the district consistently shows high results in crop and livestock production. He pays great attention to supporting farmers and private subsidiary farms, considering them the foundation of rural prosperity. Thanks to his active stance, just in recent years the district’s farms have received tens of millions of rubles in subsidies and grants.

      Behind all the regalia — the gratitude of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Russia, the title "Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan," the medal "For Valiant Labor" — stands not just an official, but a person who cares for his land with all his heart. The awarding of the title "Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Russian Federation" to Fargat Talvertovich Kamaliev is a pride for all Zainsk residents.
