Auto lawyer Slavnov explained what awaits drivers who have had their licenses revoked for driving a car.

      A person deprived of a driver's license can be jailed for up to 15 days for operating a vehicle. This was reported to Tatar-inform by auto lawyer Dmitry Slavnov.

      "If a person has been deprived of a driver's license, they must hand their license over to the traffic police (GIBDD). However, some drivers who have been stripped of their rights simply file a report claiming their driver's license was lost and continue to drive. If inspectors stop such a driver, check his 'card' on a tablet and find out that the person has been deprived of the right to drive, the offender faces a fine of 30,000 rubles or arrest for up to 15 days," the agency's interlocutor said.

      He reminded that in this situation the driver will bear the responsibility provided for by Article 12.7, Part 2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation.

      "The individual will be fined for operating a vehicle while deprived of the right to drive vehicles of that category," the speaker summed up.
