A native of Zainsky District heads the training of specialists for KAMAZ.

      We continue the series of publications about outstanding natives who have brought fame to the Zainsk District. Today our story is about Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Honored Teacher of the Republic of Tatarstan, director of the Naberezhnye Chelny Technical College named after V. Potashov — Elmira Taksinovna Akhmetova.

      Elmira Taksinovna was born and raised in the village of Durt-Muncha and graduated from the Kaban-Bastryk secondary school. Her parents, Taksin and Gaziza Sitdikov, raised three children, providing them all with a good education. Her father, a jack-of-all-trades, completed specialization courses for land reclamation workers in Kazan; her mother was a leading livestock worker, awarded numerous certificates of honor. Her son, Radik, has headed the Durt-Muncha rural settlement for nearly 30 years.

      After graduating from the Naberezhnye Chelny Pedagogical Institute, Elmira Taksinovna worked at School No. 21, then at Gymnasium No. 64, and since 2004 began teaching at the pedagogical institute. In 2010 she successfully defended her candidate’s dissertation, and since 2016 she has headed the Potashov Technical College, which trains qualified specialists for KAMAZ. The college is a specialized WorldSkills competence center for industrial robotics and heavy equipment maintenance.

      Elmira Taksinovna’s husband, Aidar Minleakhmetovich, is the dean of the Faculty of Physical Education at the Naberezhnye Chelny Pedagogical University. Their daughters, Milyausha and Albina, continued the family tradition by choosing the teaching profession. Elmira Akhmetova’s professional merits have been recognized with the "For Merit in Education" badge, the title "Honored Teacher of the Republic of Tatarstan," and numerous certificates of merit. This year, on Machine-Builders’ Day, she received an Honorary Diploma from the Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan, Oleg Korobchenko, for conscientious work and professional achievements.
