      A solemn and mournful ceremony was held in the village of Nizhne Kuchukovo — the unveiling of a memorial plaque in memory of fellow villager Rustam Sharipov, who heroically died during the special military operation. The event, which took place on October 16, brought together the villagers to honor the memory of the warrior who fell while carrying out combat missions on November 5, 2024.

      At the entrance to the house where the hero’s mother, Roza Sharipova, lives, those for whom Rustam Negmatovich will forever remain an example of courage and kindness gathered. Relatives, friends, fellow villagers, schoolchildren and teachers came to pay tribute to a man who, according to the recollections of his fellow villagers, was always ready to help.

      The ceremony included students of the Kuchukovo school together with their Russian language teacher S.V. Sabirzyanova. For the younger generation, such events are not just a history lesson but a living encounter with the fate of a true hero. Rustam Sharipov’s feat was recognized at the state level — he was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, which attests to his self-sacrifice and bravery.

      The head of the Kuchukovo rural settlement, Alfiya Tukhvatullina, also came to pay tribute to the fallen warrior, emphasizing Rustam’s contribution to the defense of the country’s national interests and expressing words of support to his family.

      Those gathered remembered Rustam not only as a soldier who gave his life for the Motherland, but also as a kind, responsive person whom everyone in the village knew and respected. A minute of silence and scarlet carnations at the new memorial plaque became symbols of popular remembrance and endless gratitude that the residents of Nizhne Kuchukovo will keep in their hearts.
