      Today, after a major overhaul, the highway on Magistralnaya Street was ceremonially opened. The work was carried out as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." At the ceremonial opening of traffic, the city’s mayor, Nail Magdeev, emphasized that the road is of great importance to the city and to industrial enterprises.

      "I would like, on behalf of the half‑million city, the capital of the automotive industry of the Russian Federation, the city of the legendary KAMAZ trucks, to say a big, heartfelt thank you. This road is used by Chelny residents, by those who come to KAMAZ, by industrial enterprises. This road is very needed and important for all of us," Nail Magdeev addressed the workers of RBR 16.

      The head of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, Radiy Kadikov, pointed out that over the past five years there were about 15 traffic accidents with casualties per year on this stretch. Now, on Mashinostroitelnaya Street the road surface and road markings have been renewed, new road signs and pedestrian barriers installed. The road has become truly safe and high-quality.

      A symbolic start to traffic on the renovated road was given by the mayor and Radiy Kadikov: after that, as is traditional, a convoy of road workers’ dump trucks rumbled over the new asphalt.

      For their contribution to the capital repair of the road on Mashinostroitelnaya Street, the following employees of RBR 16 LLC were commended by the mayor: loader‑excavator operator Tagir Galimzyanov, carpenter‑concreter Grigory Grigoryev, road milling machine operator Rafil Minnakhmetov, vehicle driver Konstantin Syrenkov, and asphalt worker Oleg Titov.
