U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who has a negative attitude toward ‘socialist’ countries, plays a key role in this policy. It is possible that Bolivia may join the pressure on Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua, as happened with Guyana, where the new pro‑American government entered into a territorial conflict with Caracas,” Shpakovsky believes.
