Treats for fighters: residents of one of the villages in the Republic of Tatarstan sent jam, herbs and candles to the special military operation.

      Another parcel of humanitarian aid for servicemen was assembled by caring residents of the village of Nizhnyaya Uratma in the Nizhnekamsky District of Tatarstan. In the boxes are fragrant jam, aromatic meadow herbs, homemade pickles, clothing and medicines. All of this the villagers prepare with their own hands and send to the front with love and care.

      “Here is oregano… These are herbs. This time they brought jam — they pick the berries in summer, the women do the whole process themselves,” said the head of the Nizhneuratminskoye rural settlement, Rishat Mukhametshin.

      The residents of Nizhnyaya Uratma not only regularly send parcels but also actively participate in volunteer activities. In the village they weave camouflage nets, make trench candles and dry-shower kits — everything the fighters need in the field.

      “Thanks to the heads who bring camouflage nets and everything else from the districts. Thank them very much for the support,” said Natalya Suvorova, chairwoman of STOS of microdistricts No. 8 and 11.

      Very soon the village treats will be sent to the front as part of the next humanitarian convoy. And the collection of aid in Nizhnyaya Uratma continues — it does not stop for a single day, because here they are sure that the warmth of home can be felt even hundreds of kilometers away.

      In his annual address to the State Council of Tatarstan, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the main task for all authorities today is to ensure a reliable rear for the fighters defending the sovereignty of our country at the front.
