       The Kazan administration issued an order under which unauthorized structures in the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts of the city will be dismantled by the end of 2025.

       The Kazan administration issued a directive for the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts of the city with an official order to demolish illegal structures. According to the document published on the mayor’s portal, owners of the unauthorized constructions are required to dismantle their properties themselves by November 10, 2025. Four real estate objects located in the districts fell under the order: a garage on Studenaya St., near building 27; a group of garages on Glazunova St., next to building 6 (and at Avangardnaya 171B); garages on Avangardnaya St., near building 171; outbuildings near building No. 11 on Malaya Kabannaya St. As the media write, the owners of the specified properties are not listed in the title documents. This means the process of establishing the owners and sending them individual notices is made more complicated. If the administration’s requirements are not met within the established period, starting December 26, 2025, the authorities will begin the forced demolition of the objects. All demolished structures will be moved for storage to a special site at: 7 Alebastrovaya St. As reported a few days ago, Kazan may be approaching a municipal crisis: the city is preparing for the upcoming winter with a catastrophic shortage of street cleaners. A shortfall of 800 employees threatens the city’s cleaning when the cold arrives.
