An in-person stage of the accelerator was held in Moscow for the winners and laureates of the federal contest for young entrepreneurs "Create OURS." Participants presented their projects to experts and potential investors and reported on their implementation successes.
Alfia Kogogina, coordinator of the "Entrepreneurship" project of the United Russia party and first deputy chair of the State Duma Committee on SMEs, noted that when a person enters business for the first time and decides on this path, the first things they need, besides the business idea itself, are clear, practical recommendations and support.
"That is especially true for young people. Their sharp minds, drive, incredible ideas and desire to win are already a guarantee of success. It is important to equip them as early as possible with practical skills — from financial literacy and basic project management to the ability to work in a team and not be afraid to take risks," the deputy emphasized.
She said it is necessary to implement as many entrepreneurship programs for young people as possible — in schools, colleges and universities. And not in the form of dry theory, but as live, interactive projects. Not to scare them with difficulties, but to show opportunities and teach them how to use them.
"Our common task is to create an environment for young people so that everyone has the opportunity to gain knowledge, support and resources to implement their business ideas. After all, energy, courage and new perspectives are the most valuable capital for the future of our country," Kogogina said.
For example, a participant from Moscow organized the production of hydroponic modules for growing greens in stores to extend shelf life up to 20 days. A representative from Tatarstan is producing industrial-grade liquid silicone. An entrepreneur from the Nizhny Novgorod region established the assembly of exoskeletons for arm rehabilitation after injuries and neurological disorders, with the option to connect virtual reality goggles and train without medical staff.
Youth entrepreneurship is developing at an accelerated pace today and is becoming one of the drivers of the SME sector. This is evidenced by the dynamics of the key business indicators of the participants of the "Create OURS" competition. Thus, the combined revenue of their enterprises increased almost 5.5 times: from 47 million rubles in 2023 to 254 million rubles in 2024. The average number of employees at these enterprises rose from 26 people in 2023 to 72 by the end of 2024.
This year, 30 people out of more than 7,000 participants became winners of the contest; they received grants of 1 million rubles each and invitations to participate in the accelerator from the SME Corporation. Ten laureates of the contest also completed the intensive.
In 2026 the prize fund will be expanded and the number of grant recipients increased. 100 million rubles will be divided among the 100 best young entrepreneurs.
The federal competition for youth entrepreneurship "Create OURS" has been held by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the SME Corporation, the Youth Entrepreneurial Initiative Fund and the all‑Russian public organization Business Russia since 2024.
