Veterans from Laishevo who served in the Special Military Operation won medals at the Abilympics championship in Moscow.

      The National professional skills championship "Abilympics" ended in triumph for the team from Laishevsky District. All six veterans of the special military operation who represented the district at the competition are returning home with awards.

      Ruslan Kharrasov won first place in the "Photography" category. Sergey Fedotov was the best in "Culinary Arts." Aynur Yagudin also took first place in "Welding Technologies." Dmitry Ivanov showed excellent results and took second place in "Vehicle Repair and Maintenance." Second place in "Performing Arts (Vocal)" was won by Alexander Antonov. Adel Urkunbaev became the silver medalist in the "UAV Operator" category.

      Special congratulations were addressed to Aynur Yagudin, who, in addition to the gold medal, became the overall champion in the nomination from the United Russia party.

      "We are incredibly proud of our heroes! These victories prove: the strength of spirit and courage of our warriors manifest not only on the battlefield, but also in peaceful life. You are a true example for all of us," said the head of Laishevsky District Ildus Zaripov.

      The "Abilympics" championship was held in Moscow from October 30 to November 2 and gathered more than a thousand contestants from across Russia. All representatives of Laishevsky District stood on the winners' podium, demonstrating a high level of professional training, perseverance, and a striving for excellence.

      "We wholeheartedly congratulate our winners! We are proud of the people of Laishevsky — heroes and professionals!" the district administration said.

      In 2025 the championship is held under the motto "No limits — act boldly!" The "Abilympics" championship is conducted within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children."
