A journalist from the presidential pool noted Putin's "phenomenal capacity for work."
Russian President Vladimir Putin impresses with his remarkable stamina. This opinion was shared in an interview with Tatar‑inform by VGTRK political commentator Alexander Khristenko, a member of the presidential and Foreign Ministry pools.
"One of the recent visits to China is a vivid example. It was a four‑day trip; our film crew covered part of the route — the city of Tianjin. There, in addition to large‑scale meetings within the SCO framework, the president had seven bilateral talks, and in total during the visit 17 such meetings! The first day began at around nine in the morning and ended at about one in the morning — a real marathon of public appearances," the Tatar‑inform interlocutor said.
Then there was work in Beijing, after which Putin flew straight to Vladivostok for the Eastern Economic Forum, where he also spoke and held meetings. On his way back to Moscow he stopped in Samara to visit one of the enterprises.
"That's truly phenomenal stamina!" the VGTRK political commentator remarked.
He also noted the charisma and strong energy of the Russian leader. According to Alexander Khristenko, this is felt both in a small office and in a huge hall, as at the Valdai Forum. You can see how, as he speaks, the audience becomes increasingly engaged, charged by that energy.
"You can feel that he is a very strong‑willed, coherent person, absolutely confident in the rightness of his actions. And he infects those around him — colleagues, partners — with that confidence. His depth of knowledge and attention to detail always impress. For example, at press conferences, whether after foreign visits or within the country, when journalists begin to ask questions on a wide variety of topics, he answers precisely, in detail, providing figures and facts," Khristenko noted.
