      In Kazan a local resident became yet another victim of internet scammers. A 31-year-old man filed a report with the police after becoming the victim of a con artist while purchasing a graphics card. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kazan.

      A Kazan resident found an attractive offer to sell a graphics card on one of the classifieds websites. He contacted the seller; they discussed all the terms of the deal, including the price and delivery of the item.

      After agreeing, the fake seller asked the Kazan resident for full prepayment and sent him the details of his bank card. The trusting buyer transferred more than 100 thousand rubles to the specified account.

      After receiving the money the seller suddenly stopped responding and answering phone calls. Only then did the Kazan resident realize that he had become a victim of fraud.
