      Employees of the regional FSB directorate for the Republic of Bashkortostan detained eight residents of Salavat and the Ishimbay district who were planning sabotage at cellular communications facilities, Kommersant reports. According to the agency, one resident of Salavat began corresponding on Telegram with an unknown person who suggested that he set fire to cellular towers and damage a fiber-optic cable. The offender promised a monetary reward for this. The perpetrator found an accomplice who recruited six more people for the planned crimes. taken from the Telegram channel of TASS — “The customer determined the locations of the facilities and the required conditions for confirmation in the form of recorded video reports of the moments the sabotage was carried out,” the UFSB for RB reports. Law enforcement officers detained all members of the group while they were attempting to carry out the sabotage. A criminal case has been opened against the detainees on charges of attempted sabotage.
