It has emerged how Tatarstan managed to solve the problem of queues at MFCs.
In Tatarstan, the problem of queues at MFCs has been resolved. This was reported at the House of Government by the agency’s director, Lenara Muzafarova. Since January 1, the offices had been overcrowded with foreign citizens due to changes in legislation aimed at strengthening migration control. In particular, this was related to the fact that foreigners can now purchase SIM cards only using biometric data, and previously purchased ones are being blocked. To complete all legalization procedures, they had to visit MFCs three or four times. Residents of the republic at that time could not even approach the terminals. To solve the problem, a special department for working with foreign citizens was created in Kazan at 74 Avangardnaya Street. Average waiting time fell from 16 minutes to four minutes, and the maximum—from three hours to 40 minutes.
