Kazan approved a new standard for housing costs for young families.
The Executive Committee of Kazan approved a new housing cost standard that will be used to assess the solvency of young families under state programs for the fourth quarter of 2025. The decree was signed by the head of the executive committee, Rustam Gafarov.
According to the document, the cost of one square meter of total floor area in the city is set at 151,225 rubles. This figure will serve as the basis for calculating families' capabilities when participating in regional and federal initiatives to improve housing conditions.
The decision was made as part of the implementation of the federal program "Provision of Affordable and Comfortable Housing and Communal Services to Citizens of the Russian Federation," as well as the corresponding program of Tatarstan.
When forming the standard, the average market value of housing in Kazan for the fourth quarter of 2025, as determined by the Ministry of Construction of Russia, was taken into account. Control over the implementation of the decree has been assigned to the deputy head of the city executive committee, Iskander Giniyatullin.
