The reconstruction of the water supply networks in the village of Malye Kokuzy in Apastovsky District has been completed.

      In the village of Malye Kokuzy in Apastovsky District, the water supply networks were reconstructed under the federal program "Modernization of Communal Infrastructure" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life."

      During works on a 6.3 km section along Pushkin and Lenin Streets, metal pipes were replaced with wear‑resistant 110 mm polyethylene pipes, 73 manholes and 10 fire hydrants were installed. The amount of funding totaled 62.182 million rubles.

      This project was included in the national project "Infrastructure for Life" thanks to the signing in September of an additional agreement between the Russian Ministry of Construction and the Government of Tatarstan, allocating 519.6 million rubles from the federal budget to the republic for the modernization of communal infrastructure.

      The water supply network in Malye Kokuzy was built in 1985. After a long period of operation, system wear exceeded 70%; the metal pipes were clogged with rust, water pressure was insufficient, and emergency incidents occurred frequently, especially on sections along Lenin Street. As a result of the project's implementation, 198 village residents are now continuously supplied with quality water.

      Recall that under the national project "Infrastructure for Life" this year 44 facilities are being modernized with 4.147 billion rubles. This list also included eight new facilities in the Almetyevsky, Apastovsky, Baltasinsky, Vysokogorsky, Zelenodolsky, Rybnoslobodsky and two in the Alekseevsky districts under the additional agreement.
