A new "Farmer's Corner" has opened in Kazan.
A new "Farmer's Island" opened in Kazan today. The venue features products from farming enterprises, including dairy, meat, sausage and confectionery products from 30 agricultural producers from 17 municipal districts of the republic. Niyaz Khuramshin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the opening.
The operator of the new "Farmer's Island" is Leila Mingazova. The entrepreneur, who has experience in retail, manages the sales area and brings together local agricultural and food producers there.
Niyaz Khuramshin noted: "This venue is another accessible point where you can buy high-quality farm products from local producers. For our farmers — new sales markets; for residents — confidence in quality. I am sure this 'islet' will become a continent of trust!"
The project is being implemented within the framework of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy" with the support of the Small and Medium Enterprise Corporation and provides agricultural producers and food manufacturers with the opportunity to place their products in special 'islands'.
In total, with the support of the SME Corporation, 96 "Farmer's Islands" have been organized in 38 federal subjects of Russia, with more than 1,100 producers already supplying their products to the shelves. In the Republic of Tatarstan, 6 "Farmer's Islands" are operating: 4 in Kazan, one in the town of Arsk and one in the village of Vysokaya Gora.
