Families of participants in the special military operation from Vysokogorsky District visited Saint Petersburg.

      As part of the "Strong in Spirit" project of the Vysokogorsky District branch of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" Fund, families of servicemembers from Vysokogorsky District who died during the special military operation made a commemorative trip to the Northern capital of our country. Earlier they visited Diveyevo, Moscow and Volgograd.

      Such trips not only give the families of the fallen heroes a chance to take a break from everyday concerns, but also create an important space for people with similar fates to communicate, where they can share their experiences and support one another.

      The first day in Saint Petersburg was devoted to an overview tour on the Neva. On the second day participants visited the Peterhof Palace and park with access to the Gulf of Finland. The evening ended at the famous bridges.

      The third day gave Vysokogorsk residents an introduction to the Catherine Palace. They also visited the Cathedral of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity, Derzhavin's estate, and the city's oldest pishki café, in operation since 1958.

      The event supports the goals of the national "Family" project.

      New national projects that affect virtually all areas are being implemented in Russia. This year, Tatarstan will implement 12 of them: "Family", "Youth and Children", "Long and Active Life", "Infrastructure for Living", "Environmental Well-Being", "Human Resources", "Effective and Competitive Economy", "Technological Support for Food Security", "Tourism and Hospitality", "International Cooperation and Export", "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State", and "Unmanned Aerial Systems". 59 billion rubles will be allocated to events under these projects.
