Farmers in Tatarstan sold products worth 800 million rubles at agricultural fairs.

      After two months of operation of the autumn–winter season of agricultural fairs in Tatarstan, a significant volume of sales has been achieved. According to the Republic's Ministry of Agriculture, farmers' total revenue amounted to 792.5 million rubles. Vegetable products were the most popular with buyers — 5.7 thousand tonnes were sold, including 3.5 thousand tonnes of potatoes. Significant sales volumes fell on meat products (646.6 tonnes) and sugar (577.8 tonnes). Residents of the republic also actively purchased bulk milk (180.9 tonnes) and chicken eggs (more than 1.2 million pieces). First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Lenar Garipov personally inspected the operation of the trading sites on Prospekt Pobedy and Fuchika and Batyrshina streets in Kazan, assessing the assortment and quality of the goods offered. The fairs will continue until December 28, offering products directly from producers at socially oriented prices.
