A verdict has been handed down in Kazan against the former head of the State Public Institution "Main State Agricultural Department for Breeding in Animal Husbandry," Rishat Zaripov. The court found him guilty of exceeding his official powers when allocating subsidies to LLC "Plemkonzavod 'Kazansky'."
The official illegally directed more than 17 million rubles of budget funds to the purchase of pedigree horses and to support pedigree animal husbandry.
