The Inclusive Workshop "Magic Plaster" project was launched in Zainsk.

      A key event took place at the “Radost” Social Services Center — the first meeting of the working group on the implementation of the project “Inclusive Workshop ‘Magic Plaster’,” which became the winner of the all‑Russian “Excellent Neighbors” competition.

      The event marked the official start of work to create a unique space in the city for creative rehabilitation and socialization of people with disabilities. The meeting was held in a businesslike yet inspired atmosphere. Participants discussed the project roadmap and allocated areas of responsibility.

      The target audience was defined. It was unanimously decided that the workshop would serve people with various forms of disability, including mental disabilities. Special emphasis will be placed on working with adult recipients of social services from the day care unit who are in need of social adaptation.

      Participants proposed developing classes that include the basics of working with plaster, creating home décor items, painting finished products, conducting creative master classes, and a final themed exhibition at the Pyaterochka store.

      The plan for material and technical equipment and the purchase of specialized equipment for working with plaster was also discussed at the meeting.

      The first master classes are scheduled to start in late November–early December.
