More than 900 works were presented by participants of the "Russian Student Spring" in Kazan.
The second competitive day of the XXXIII All‑Russian festival "Russian Student Spring" concluded in Kazan. On November 27 participants from 13 regions presented their programs in the I and II Leagues at two venues — the Palace of Culture of Chemical Workers and the Palace of Culture of Railway Workers. Over two days delegations from 25 federal subjects of the country performed — from Yakutia and Karachay‑Cherkessia to Khabarovsk Krai and the Luhansk People’s Republic.
Andrey Zhuravlev, head of the Ulyanovsk Region delegation, reported that their team presented an experimental format of the number and received a positive reaction from the audience. He emphasized that the program was dedicated to mentor‑figures who remain important in everyone’s life.
That day in the I League teams from Yaroslavl Oblast ("Priekhali" — "Arrived"), the Republic of Tyva ("Tyva sulde"), Ulyanovsk Oblast ("Klaus"), the Chuvash Republic ("Life…"), the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) ("Something That Is Always with You"), Kemerovo Oblast ("The Light of Our Spring…") and Tatarstan ("Jalil") presented their works.
Anna Zavorzaeva, head of the Chuvash Republic delegation, noted that their number is dedicated to besieged Leningrad and is delivered in the voice of contemporary youth. She stressed that in the year of the 80th anniversary of Victory it was important for the team to "show the truth of that time."
In the II League delegations from Kaluga, Bryansk and Tver Oblasts, Khabarovsk Krai, Karachay‑Cherkessia and the Luhansk People’s Republic performed. The LPR’s program was presented at the all‑Russian level for the first time and told of the feats of the young heroes of the Donbass during the Great Patriotic War.
The competitive program concluded with the Tatarstan delegation’s program about Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Jalil. The lead actor, Murad Yusupov, said that working on the number was an important experience for him: visiting the poet’s museum‑apartment helped him to immerse more deeply in the role and feel connected to the historical heritage.
In total, over the two competitive days participants presented more than 900 creative works across ten directions. The festival laureates will be announced on November 28 at the award ceremonies and the Gala Concert. Broadcasts and recordings of the festival are available on VK Video and in the "Russian Student Spring" community on VKontakte.
The All‑Russian festival "Russian Student Spring" has been held since 1993 and remains the largest creative event for student youth. The organizers are the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the Russian Youth Union and the Government of Tatarstan, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).
