      The largest specialized industry exhibition and forum for commercial vehicles in Russia, Comtrans, will be held in the capital of Tatarstan from October 6 to 9, 2026, at the Kazan Expo exhibition complex. This was announced by the exhibition and forum director, Roman Kuzmin, at a press conference at Tatar-inform.

      According to Kuzmin, the choice of Tatarstan as the venue for the forum was not accidental, as it has a strong industrial base and developed transport infrastructure.

      In addition, as the republic's Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Korobchenko noted, four major automakers are located in Tatarstan: KAMAZ, Sellers, Aurus and Raritek. A distinctive feature of the forum is the opportunity to conduct test drives for virtually all vehicles exhibited. Incidentally, upon learning about it, Korobchenko immediately suggested considering an additional venue, "Kazan Ring."

      "The Kazan Expo Center is a unique venue that will allow the combination of three formats: an industry exhibition, a federal program and a full-fledged test drive of commercial equipment," Kuzmin said.

      Traditionally the exhibition is attended by about 17,000 participants from various regions of Russia as well as from CIS countries. In a short period of time participants get acquainted with the products of leading manufacturers and also evaluate the characteristics, features and suitability under current conditions.
