      Investigators are determining the circumstances of a brutal murder in the Nurlat district of Tatarstan. Preliminary information indicates the motive for the tragedy was jealousy.

      A 46-year-old woman visited her 52-year-old friend. What began as a peaceful evening quickly turned into a nightmare: an argument broke out between the women, which ended with a fatal blow to the head with a frying pan. The guest died two days later in a medical facility.

      A criminal case has been opened against the homeowner. Investigators intend to ask the court in the near future to impose a preventive measure on her while all necessary examinations and interrogations are conducted.
