At the same time, the geomagnetic situation on Earth remains calm: thanks to a decrease in solar wind speed, disturbances in the magnetosphere have noticeably subsided over the past 24 hours. However, scientists are recording the return of sunspots. The background level of the star’s radiation has once again exceeded the C-class threshold, indicating an increase in the total energy release in the solar corona. In addition, signs of a new large active region emerging on the eastern (left) limb of the disk are appearing — bright plasma loops are already visible above the surface. Astronomers clarify that the exact size and strength of this new activity center have not yet been determined; the situation should become clearer within the next 24 hours.
