      The events, the minister said, will run along three key directions. The first is the integration of already existing major festivals into the agenda, such as the theatrical "Navruz" and the film festival "Altyn Minbar."

      "Naturally, from the Kazan Kremlin, we automatically include all these events in the program. Two major ensembles from Malaysia and Iran have already confirmed participation in the Navruz festival. Rustam Nurgalievich (Minnikhanov, Rais of Tatarstan – T.i.) supported this idea, and so we are expecting guests," the minister said.

      The second direction is political and business-oriented. The solemn opening of the year is scheduled for May 14 as part of KazanForum. The closing ceremony will take place in November.

      The third, scholarly-specialized direction will be devoted to an in-depth consideration of Islamic art. The focus will be on Quranic studies, calligraphy, Islamic architecture and archaeology. According to her, the solemn opening of the year will take place on May 13, and the closing ceremony in November.
