      In November 2025, Tatarstan recorded a decline in the industrial production index (IPI) compared with the previous month: the indicator fell by 9.1% to 90.9%. Nevertheless, in annual terms the republic's industry showed growth — compared with November 2024 the index increased by 10.6%, according to data from Tatarstanstat.

      Among the sectors that showed the highest year-on-year growth (November 2025 vs. November 2024) were repair of machinery and equipment (+70.2%), manufacture of pharmaceuticals and medical materials (+63.2%), production of electrical equipment (+25.1%), manufacture of other finished products (+17.8%), beverage production (+10.4%) and production of coke and petroleum products (+8.6%).

      At the same time, a number of industries faced a significant decline in production volumes. Thus, production of machinery and equipment decreased (−46.9%), clothing (−36.7%), furniture (−31.1%), the metallurgical industry (−27.6%), output of rubber and plastic products (−27.1%), as well as the automotive industry (−17.9%).

      Recall that in August 2025 the IPI amounted to +9.7% compared with the same period in 2024. From January to August 2025 the index reached +11%, and compared with July an increase of 2.7% was recorded.
