      After the three autumn months of this year, experts recorded a significant increase in demand for courier services in the Republic of Tatarstan.

      According to analysts from the Avito Podrabotka service, in Tatarstan the number of vacancies for delivery workers grew almost 1.5 times compared to the same period last year, reaching 49%. This trend made the region one of the leaders in the increase in the number of offers in the Volga Federal District. Across Russia the situation is developing even more rapidly: nationwide demand for couriers for part-time work increased by 63%. The bulk of the work still falls on standard urban delivery, which accounts for 65% of all orders. However, modern couriers have long ceased to be just parcel carriers. Their responsibilities have expanded significantly: they now help with delivering gifts, participate in organizing festive events, and run errands to purchase goods from clients’ lists.

      Financial expectations in this segment of the labor market vary by region. The highest salary offers were recorded in Moscow, where a courier’s average monthly income can reach 53 thousand rubles. Experts link the sharp rise in vacancies to seasonal factors. On the eve of the New Year holidays the number of orders traditionally increases, prompting companies to seek additional staff to handle the increased load.

      Sergey Yaskin, director of the Avito Podrabotka service, emphasizes that the delivery sector is a stable market segment where demand for workers persists year-round and intensifies ahead of peak sales.

      Earlier it was reported that Tatarstan entered the top five regions in the growth of the number of couriers.
